Dusty Rivers Stud is situated in the picturesque Mary valley on the Bruce Highway at Traveston.
Our aim is to breed quality Paints, Quarter horses & Stock horses with good trainable minds.
We are also a working beef cattle property where we run 350 to 400 head of comercial Droughtmaster cattle
on 900 acres.

Shades of Pepewood (aka Beauy) has strated competing in Challenges this year. So far, we have done Biloela Show Challenge for 3rd in the Rookie and Horse of the North in Charters Towers for 4th in the Under 25yrs. We are going to Monto and Cloncurry with him as well. Also, last year we did Nambour Show for Champion Led Paint Colt and Champion Led Paint Exhibit and Brisbane Royal for Champion Led Paint Colt.
